I have been raising and training Mountain Feist since 1985. Pistol Pete is the best stud dog I have ever had here. I have always had good females and went to breed them to good males wherever they were. Since Pete came along I haven't had to travel much for a stud dog. Pete was born April 26th 1997. He is 17" tall and weighs 28 lbs. I am very proud of this dog and all his accomplishments. He is a well bred Baldwin Feist with Magic in him. Magic was a half sister to Cadillac Jack.

The Pistol ( a name used for him around in my neck of the woods, by my hunting buddy's.) won his first competition Sq. Hunt when he was 20 months old, he made Sq.Ch. at 22 months of age. I have hunted him in competition hunts in 9 states to earn his titles. He is one of the best Feist dogs I have hunted with, Bar none.

The Pistol treed with his mother when he was 3-1/2 months old. He treed his first wild squirrel ( which was a split tree about 200 yards from his mother) at 5-1/2 months old. He is the most intelligent Feist Sq. dog I have ever hunted with. He uses his eyes, ears and nose to tree with. He can wind a Sq. and tree it, when most dogs can't even smell it.

Pistol has been reproducing Feist dogs that are doing the same, and start treeing before 1 year of age. His pups hunt hard (Not Fast), Locate quick and Tree solid. They are making very accurate squirrel treeing Feist dogs.
